These are the terms and conditions of Socotra Oud. We have the right to change these conditions at any time without any prior notice to the user. You should ensure that you have read these terms before making a purchase from the site. If you do not wish to be bound by these conditions then you should not use or access Socotra Oud.
This website is for purely informational purposes only. Neither Socotra Oud, or any of its Directors will be held responsible for any damage or loss caused from accessing the site. This includes, but is not limited to direct, indirect, incidental and consequential damage.
Socotra Oud reserves the right to amend product information as and when needed and it should be noted that some information may be inaccurate or out of date. Products are provided with a picture to aid in the selection process with slight colour variations to be expected between screen and actual colour.
All prices are quoted in British Sterling and are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Therefore, payment has to be made in British Sterling, unless otherwise stated, via one of the following card payment methods – Visa, Delta, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo, Electron and Visa Delta.
Passing of property and risk
All products purchased on this website remain the property of Socotra Oud until full payment has been received from the customer. The risk in the goods passes to the customer on delivery of the items.
An order that is lost in transit, by a third party, after leaving the premises of Socotra Oud is no longer the responsibility of the sender. If goods are received damaged a request for a refund or exchange will be accepted providing notification is given with 14 days of the order reaching the customer. See Returns Policy
If an order is to be signed for the risk passes to the customer once a signature has been given. If there is reason to believe that damage or tampering has occurred to the order, the customer should refuse to sign for the goods.
If either instance should occur it is the responsibility of Socotra Oud to notify the Royal Mail and to make a claim on behalf of the customer.
Disclaimer of representations and warranties
Socotra Oud, nor any associated directors or shareholders make any condition, expressed or implied that –
- Socotra Oud’s web site will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Socotra Oud’s web site or the computer server from which the web site is made available, are free of viruses or other harmful components
No material from the website, Socotraoud.com, may be copied, downloaded, reproduced, broadcast, shown or played in public, republished, uploaded, posted, stored, transmitted or distributed in any way, adapted or changed other than to view and use the website in a web browser.
The site Socotraoud.com is provided on an “as is” and “as and when available” basis to all users. Socotra Oud makes no representations or warranties, either express or implied, to the information, content, materials, products or operation of this site.
Ordering
An order is classified as being confirmed once you have received an email outlining the purchase and confirmation of payment.
An order may be cancelled by contacting us via email info@socotraoud.com. If the goods have been despatched before the cancellation occurs. Socotra Oud will not be able to refund any postage or packaging costs.
Electronic Communication
By contacting Socotra Oud via email you, as a user of the site, are consenting to communication between us being electronic. You agree that all notices, disclosures and other communications that are provided electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
